Children from various children’s homes around Prague had a chance to participate in an workshop at the renowned Panorama Hotel in Prague today. Goal of the occasion was to prepare the young people for the transition from institution to adult life and finding a work place.
The hotel’s general manager himself, Mark Agnew, took time away from his busy schedule to share his story and how he climbed the ladder of success with the attending kids. “A job well done, consistency and loyalty will invariably result in a successful career for anyone willing to take up the challenge”, he told the attendees.
After, the children were given a look behind the scenes into the inner workings of a large hotel and also had a chance to learn how to prepare some popular non-alcoholic drinks. The afternoon concluded with a visit to the rooftop lounge of the hotel where they could indulge a breathtaking panoramic view over the city of Prague.
A big thank you goes to all the staff and to Andrew for making this a wonderful and educational experience for the children.
