Dr. Clown becoming a household word in Kladno

THE CHRISTENING OF THE NEW DR. CLOWN CITY BUS

Kladno – This Sunday, a bus full of animated children and clowns was spotted cruising down the morning streets of Kladno. Some of the passers-by were obviously caught by surprise, curiously looking and staring at the bus as to determine who’s shouting and waving at them.

Sunday morning around 11am offered a peculiar sight to people who were passing by the main entrance to the Kladno hospital. A few scattered clowns milling about, kids were laughing and having fun and a big city bus with an unusually colorful design could be seen parked right in front of the main gate.

All this rush had a good reason. The non-profit organization Chance 4 Children o.s. ( C4C ) and its program Dr. Clown obtained, in cooperation with their sponsors, a CSAD city transport bus and decided to show it off to the city of Kladno – and that for one whole year! All participants of the gala ride had to put on red noses and the bus set off on its first official journey as Kladno’s own “Dr. Clown Bus”!

Some pedestrians were obviously caught by surprise when they spotted the honking bus with a crowd of waving clowns and children inside. So much so, that some of them were not even able to wave back. The ride was accompanied by songs, magic tricks for kids, balloon sculpturing and juggling. Everybody was laughing and red noses were mandatory.

The ride ended at Kladno’s newly build Sletiště sports complex. There was a jumping castle waiting, face painting and more balloons.

At 3 pm the christening of the bus took place and everybody wished it many successfully driven kilometers.
