When it comes to praise, it’s a safe road to take not to heap it upon oneself – much better to let others do it! Here’s the response from the staff of the Pisek hospital to a recent visit from one of our Dr. Klaun teams.
On Thursday, April 25, 2024, a lovely couple visited our Department of Social Beds at the Hospital in Písek. It was a duo of clowns, organized by Dr. Clown.
We know that Dr. Clown visits children’s hospital patients. A little worried about how our clients, who are mostly seniors, would accept this performance, we were somewhat anxious. Then we became very pleasantly surprised.
The performance was very professional, relaxed and nice from the get-go. During the performance, we observed how our patients spontaneously engaged in singing, magic tricks and other actions. Dr. Clown brought smiles to everyone’s faces. And not only to our clients, but also to the department staff.
After the performance, all the participants confirmed to us how much they liked the performance and immediately asked when the next one would be.
We are happy to confirm the credo of Dr. Clown that their teams dedicate their free time to “Laughter Therapy” – they really spread joy and happiness wherever they go.
