What can be the greatest gift one person can give another at a time when time doesn’t matter anymore? You’ve guessed it – it’s time. It’s being present, looking someone in the eyes, holding their hand, taking time to listen and not being in a rush about it. This time our Dr. Klaun team’s performance in the senior home Majak was magical. As a photographer I had an unforgettable experience witnessing the magic of being present.
Our clown team, Pavel and Hana simply rocked!!!
Since it wasn’t the first visit with these particular seniors, you could see an excitement, joy and expectancy in the eyes of our ‘older children’. Once C4C’s two clowns started their musical performance everything changed – there was no longer sickness, loneliness, sadness… there was a perfect replacement of all that can occupy someone’s mind at such an age and we simply call it LOVE. You could say that Love was in the air, everywhere I looked around.
