C4C’s Helpmate (Pomocnik) Project Brings New AI and Gaming Courses to Educators!
Digitalization and the rise of new technologies are fundamentally transforming the environment of institutional care. Today, children’s worlds largely revolve around screens. For the internet to be a safe companion rather than a threat, educators need access to cutting-edge education. That is why Chance 4 Children (C4C), as part of its Helpmate project, is keeping up with the times and expanding its portfolio with two highly relevant educational modules.
- Gaming Without Fear: Games as a Diagnostic and Educational Tool
Computer games are no longer just marginal entertainment or an “enemy”; they represent a complex ecosystem. Our new course helps educators understand player psychology and shows them how to uncover children’s hidden talent and potential through games—whether it is logic, creativity, crisis management, or teamwork—and translate it into real life.
At the same time, we place a strong emphasis on how to effectively set digital boundaries. We teach adults how to timely and safely protect vulnerable youth from cyberbullying, hidden financial traps in apps, and predators (grooming).
- Artificial Intelligence as an Everyday Helper
No complex IT jargon! The second course focuses on the practical use of artificial intelligence to streamline the demanding work of caregivers. We show them how they can use AI to delegate routine administration, saving hours of paperwork and leaving more time and energy for the children themselves.
Furthermore, AI serves as an excellent assistant—helping to quickly brainstorm a weekend game, explain complex school subjects, or engage in creative activities with children. Everything is done with an absolute focus on personal data protection (GDPR), the ability to detect modern threats (such as deepfakes), and preparing children for the future job market.
