Whenever possible, Chance 4 Children (C4C) reduces costs and expenses by soliciting sponsorship of in-kind gifts and services to augment our budget. In addition to that, projects are staffed and realized as much as possible by volunteer help. To offset our regular fixed expenses, i.e. rent, utilities, insurance, office staff, etc., the Chance 4 Children fundraising arm generates an astounding amount of sponsorship and assistance (many times that of our actual budget) on a regular basis, without which our operations would simply not be possible. Covered by sponsorship, for the most part, are:
- International transport for aid and surplus shipmentsC4C vehicles
- Air travel
- Cell phones and accounts
- Vehicle maintenance, tires and repairs,
- Storage
- Printing
- Computers
- Office equipment and supplies
- Event management
The above and more, were all provided free of charge for us by some of our dear sponsors and supporters. All this has helped C4C to maintain it’s extremely low overhead and efficiency of service.
