Jiri Kudela, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic, invited the Chance 4 Children (C4C)team to his office this morning to express his appreciation for their engagement and for bringing relief to some of the still desperately poor institutions with resident children in Bosnia. The country is still reeling from the after shocks of a devastating civil war, which pitted families, friends and neighbors against each other, resulting in massive casualties and thousands of orphaned children.
“I truly appreciate the good work Chance 4 Children is doing for orphaned children in this poor country. Besides bringing a very substantial amount of aid, you’ve also represented the Czech Republic in a formidable way,” said the Ambassador. “If you need help in any way, we will always be there for you when your next trip comes around!”
And even though the team is not craving attention for the work they are doing – it did feel good to be appreciated and acknowledged for a project they had worked on long and hard to see through to fruition.
