17.12.2006

For the third consecutive time Chance 4 Children (C4C)was the beneficiary of the proceeds of this years Hilton Charity Concert. 1400 socialites of the local and international community turned up to hear and watch “History Maker“ Maestro Paul Freeman conduct the Czech National Symphony Orchestra for the benefit of the children Chance 4 Children cares for.

Many of Prague’s movers and shakers attended this high profile event, sponsored by some of the countries most successful companies. The concert ended with a lavish gala buffet, replete with all the finest holiday treats, prepared by the exquisite Hilton’s Chefs.

One of the evening’s visitors, Markus Roevekamp of RWE Transgas, also president of the Rotary Club Prague Bohemia, comments: “A really great and meaningful event and evening, befitting the important work C4C does in this country! Congratulations!”

To highlight their commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and to Charity, the Hilton management team, led by Director Armin Zerunjan and Marketing Manager Marketa Sebkova, give maximum attention during the Christmas season to charitable and benevolent causes. In step with this, the Hilton hosted for the first time this year the Hilton Christmas Charity Photographic Exhibition and Auction, featuring selected images of celebrated international photographer Rossano B. Maniscalchi. The proceeds of this event also benefitted C4C.

Highlight of the auction was a picture of the Czech president, Vaclav Klaus, autographed by the president especially for C4C. Thank you, Mr. President!
