The usual time to take stock is the beginning of the New Year, but while the children are still at school, the summer months are the quietest part of the calendar year, and this year I have only just managed to look back to 2021.
And that look back warmed my heart immensely.
Thanks to our partners and supporters, we were able to distribute material aid in the form of new clothes, shoes and accessories worth more than CZK 17.5 million in children’s homes and other foster care institutions, 37 in total!
VanityFair International and the Swedish non-profit organization HH continued to be steadfast partners of the Robin Hood program, regularly supplying new shoes and clothing to orphanages and other facilities.
Alza.cz a.s. was a major contributor to the young adults transitioning to life outside of institutional care, donating starter packs of electrical household appliances.
Alternatives of dairy products from Alpro and Provamel donated by Danone a.s. were also a pleasure, thanks to which the cooks of several orphanages came up with new ideas to make the children’s diet more varied.
A big thank you also goes to DHL Czech Republic, which has been delivering material aid to our warehouse in Kladno for years, which we can use thanks to the generosity of ESA Logistika a.s.
